La Mer Resort and Spa

In a top location on the beachfront between Chania and Rethymno, La Mer Resort and Spa makes for a luxurious and peaceful escape in Crete.

The outdoor pool has Balinese beds to pose on, although if you’ve got some lengths in mind, head indoors to the heated freshwater pool. You’ll also find a gym inside with cardio equipment and free weights, plus an area for that all-important post-workout stretch. There are two restaurants: Perle Noire is a buffet with show cooking stations, and La Brise De Mer serves a la carte dishes inspired by Italian, Greek, and local specialities. There are also two bars, one strategically located by the pool, so you can hang out here all day.
