How are the travel services guaranteed in the event of bankruptcy of easyJet Holidays for customers resident in the Isle of Man and Channel Islands.

Which easyJet holidays travel services are guaranteed and insured?
Any easyJet holidays package travel arrangements for which a payment has been made in advance to the travel are secured. A package travel arrangement is the pre-arranged linking of at least two services (e.g. transport and accommodation) that lasts longer than 24 hours or includes an overnight stay.
easyJet holidays has in place an insurance coverage with Liberty Mutual Insurance Europe SE to protect easyJet holidays travellers in the event of insolvency or bankruptcy, in accordance with the UK and Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangement Regulations 2015 Directive (EU) 2015/2302.
This protection applies to customers resident in the Isle of Man and Channel Islands.  For residents of the UK, our holidays are ATOL protected.

Which persons are insured?
Any person having made a payment or on whose behalf a payment has been made for a easyJet holidays package travel arrangement is insured and may claim reimbursement.

Which financial benefits are provided in case of an insolvency or bankruptcy of easyJet holidays?
Any deposit(s) or the full price of the easyJet holidays package travel arrangements paid in advance are reimbursed.
Following any package travel arrangements being cut short when insolvency or bankruptcy of easyJet holidays is declared, costs for assistance services and additional costs reasonably and necessarily incurred to enable the easyJet holidays travelers to continue with and complete the scheduled journey or package travel arrangements; or return to your home country including, if necessary, as well as the financing of accommodation prior to their return are taken over.
