Tesco Clubcard and easyJet holidays terms and conditions
Clubcard-specific T&Cs:
1. UK Tesco Clubcard members 18+ only. Participants must have a Tesco Clubcard account in their own name, standard Clubcard terms and conditions apply www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/zone/clubcard-terms-and-conditions.
2. The email account used to create your easyJet holidays account must match the email address you use to login to your Tesco Clubcard account. If it does not match, you will need to create a new easyJet holidays account using the same email address as your Clubcard account. You will not be able to move the credit to any other easyJet account and separate easyJet holiday accounts cannot be merged. If you change the email address that is used for your easyJet holidays account or your Clubcard account you will lose access to any easyJet credit that has already been exchanged. The easyJet holidays Credit on Account terms and conditions will apply to your credit.
3. There is a minimum exchange value of £5 in Clubcard vouchers and you can exchange up to £300 of Clubcard vouchers (converted to £600 of easyJet holidays credit) in any 12-month rolling period. The 12-month period starts on the date of your first exchange.
4. If you attempt to exchange amounts above this limit within the 12-month period, the exchange will be rejected and the value of the Clubcard vouchers used in the transactions will be credited back to your Clubcard account as Clubcard points within two working days.
5. Tesco Clubcard will share data relating to your Clubcard account with easyJet holidays to allow this partnership to operate. Once this transaction is complete, the information shared will not be used for any other purpose. When you create an account with easyJet holidays for the purposes of this partnership, data provided will be under the control and management of easyJet holidays. 6. You can only exchange Clubcard vouchers from your personal Clubcard account to your own personal easyJet holidays account and you must be one of the travel party on the booking made with this credit. Exchanging your Clubcard vouchers to credit another individual’s easyJet holidays account is not allowed.
7. If you are in a Tesco Clubcard Group account with another Clubcard member, only the Clubcard member who completed the Clubcard voucher exchange will be able to access the easyJet holidays credit. The Clubcard Group member who completed the Clubcard voucher exchange must be one of the travel party of the booking made with this credit.
8. Once your Clubcard vouchers have been exchanged for easyJet holidays credit they cannot be refunded, exchanged for cash or transferred to a different easyJet holidays account.
easyJet holiday-specific T&Cs:
9. Your credit will be applied to your account at easyJet.com/holidays and will show under your credit balance as ‘Tesco Clubcard’.
10. You can use your credit to make a new booking or pay towards any outstanding balances you may have on an existing booking where your easyJet holidays account email matches your Tesco Clubcard account email address only. easyJet holidays will not process refunds on an existing booking to allow you to use your credit.
11. Your easyJet holidays credit will be valid to make a booking for 6 months from the date of exchange, although your holiday can be booked for any date in the future that is available. If your easyJet holidays credit is not applied to a booking by the end of the 6-month validity it will expire, and you will not receive a refund. If the credit is not used in its entirety by the end of the 6-month period, refunds will not be issued on any expired easyJet holidays credit balances.
12. Normal booking conditions apply to holidays bookings made with easyJet holidays credit converted from Clubcard vouchers, which can be viewed at Booking Conditions. If you cancel your holiday after the 6-month validity of the easyJet holidays credit, you will not receive this credit back and no refund for it will be issued. If you cancel your holiday within the 6-month validity of the easyJet holidays credit and a refund is due, the credit will be applied back to your easyJet holidays account and the original validity of the credit will apply. You should check whether your holiday insurance covers the loss of your Clubcard voucher value or credit exchanged from these vouchers in the event you have to cancel, as not all policies will cover this.
13. If easyJet holidays cancels your booking and a refund is due, you will receive a refund of any payments back to the original method of payment.
14. Your easyJet holidays credit can only be used for the purchase of a package holiday through easyJet.com/holidays. Your easyJet holidays credit cannot be used for flight only purchases, additional products (for example travel insurance, airport parking and excursions), or any other products offered by easyJet holidays, easyJet Airline Company Limited or our partners. easyJet holidays credit cannot be used for bookings made with a travel agent or for bookings made by phone. Bookings made with easyJet holidays credit from Clubcard vouchers will not receive cashback or any other benefits from our affiliate partners.
15. easyJet holidays reserve the right to:
· Run promotions that cannot be combined with easyJet holidays credit exchanged from Clubcard vouchers, which will be noted within the promotion terms and conditions.
· Reject the exchange of Clubcard vouchers for easyJet holidays credit if we believe the terms and conditions of this promotion are not adhered to.
· Retrospectively cancel easyJet holidays credit exchanged from Clubcard vouchers where we believe the terms and conditions of the promotion are not adhered to. In this case you will be liable for any remaining balance due on your holiday booking.
· Cancel, suspend or modify this promotion or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, breach of our terms and conditions, change in applicable laws or any other factor beyond easyJet holidays’ reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the promotion, as determined by easyJet holidays at its sole discretion.
General:
16. To the extent permitted by law, Tesco does not accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, costs, expenses or claims (whether in contract, tort or otherwise) suffered by entrants or any third parties arising out of or in connection with their use of Clubcard vouchers exchanged to easyJet holidays credit. Tesco further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to entrants or any other person relating to or resulting from their participation in the easyJet holidays Reward Partner Scheme save that nothing in these terms and conditions shall act to limit or exclude the Promoter's liability resulting from its negligence or fraud. Participants in the easyJet holidays Reward Partner Scheme agree to indemnify and hold Tesco harmless from any claims, damages, expenses or claims (whether in contract, tort or otherwise) arising out of or in connection with their participation in the scheme.
17. The application and interpretation of these terms and conditions shall be governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any dispute concerning them.
18. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
