If you booked car rental, hotels or a tour&activity within 24 hours of booking your easyJet flight you will have purchased a Linked Travel Arrangement. This means that easyJet has financial failure protection in place to refund the flight part of your booking in the case of easyJet’s insolvency.
If you book additional travel services for your trip or holiday from our Partners after you have booked a flight with easyJet Airline Company Limited, you will NOT benefit from rights applying to packages under Directive (EU) 2015/2302. Therefore, easyJet Airline Company Limited will not be responsible for the proper performance of those additional travel services. In case of problems please contact the relevant Partner directly.
However, if you book additional travel services from our Partners not later than 24 hours after receiving the confirmation of the booking of your flight from easyJet Airline Company Limited, those travel services will become part of a linked travel arrangement. In that case easyJet Airline Company Limited has, as required by EU law, protection in place to refund your payments to easyJet Airline Company Limited for services not performed because of easyJet Airline Company Limited's insolvency. Please note that this does not provide a refund in the event of the insolvency of the relevant service provider.
easyJet Airline Company Limited has taken out insolvency protection with International Passenger Protection Limited (IPP).
Travellers may contact this entity or, where applicable, the competent authority if the services are denied because of easyJet Airline Company Limited's insolvency.
