1. Introduction
This is the Acceptable Use Policy which applies to your use of our channels, including our website and our app (our “Channels”), which are owned by easyJet Airline Company Limited, a company registered in England with registered office at Hangar 89, London Luton Airport, Luton, Bedfordshire, LU2 9PF, with company number 03034606 and VAT number GB 745360825.
In this Acceptable Use Policy, when we refer to “easyJet” or to "we", "us" or "our", we mean easyJet Airline Company Limited. When we refer to "you" or "your", we mean you as user of our Channels (whether you are an individual or an entity that provides a service to passengers to book easyJet flights on their behalf, such as travel agents, tour operators or travel management companies (“Reseller”).
By using our Channels, you agree to be legally bound by this Acceptable Use Policy, whether you proceed to make a booking with us or not. Any booking made through the Channels shall be subject to the Booking Terms and Conditions.
easyJet reserves the right to vary the terms of this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time, without notice, by amending this page. The amended Acceptable Use Policy will be effective from the date it is posted to our website (which date is set out at the bottom of this page). Your continued use of the Channels will constitute your acceptance of the terms of the Acceptable Use Policy in force.
2. Permitted Use
For users other than Resellers, use of our Channels is strictly for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Individual business travellers may also make use of our Channels to arrange their own business trips. Use of our Channels for any other purpose is prohibited.
A Reseller’s (i) commercial distribution of easyJet’s products and services; and (ii) use of our Channels, is subject to the terms of this Acceptable Use Policy and the Distribution Charter.
easyJet's policy relating to the commercial distribution of easyJet’s products and services by Resellers is set out in the Distribution Charter, which is incorporated into this Acceptable Use Policy.
In using our Channels you agree:
a) to link to our website only through the home page www.easyjet.com unless you have obtained our express written consent (which may be withdrawn at any time) to link to any other pages of our website;
b) not to use frames to present the link;
c) not to use the name “easyJet” or any other easyJet branding, or any content on our Channels for any purpose other than for your personal and non-commercial use, except that a Reseller may be permitted to do so, where such use is in accordance with the Distribution Charter;
d) not to gather, extract, reproduce, re-utilise and/or display on any other website, app or other online service, any material on or from our Channels, specifically including information relating to easyJet flights (including by the use of ‘screen scraping’ software or any other automated means used to extract data such as program, robot, web crawler, spider, data mining, trawling or other 'screen scraping' software, process, program or system), except that a Reseller may be permitted to do so, where such use is in accordance with the Distribution Charter;
e) not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our Channels, the non-public parts of them, or from or through which easyJet services are provided; and
f) not to use our Channels to provide easyJet flights or services or details of easyJet flights or other information to any other persons or organisations other than for your personal and non-commercial use, except that a Reseller may be permitted to do so, where such use is in accordance with the Distribution Charter.
Any use by a Reseller of the Channels must also comply with the terms of the Distribution Charter.
3. Intellectual Property
Our Channels’ content, data, appearance, underlying software, and any other material are subject to copyright, database right, trade mark rights or other intellectual property rights which are owned either by us or our licensors and may not be used in such a way as to infringe those rights. Any use of such materials other than as set out in this Acceptable Use Policy is prohibited.
4. Breach of the Acceptable Use Policy
easyJet reserves the right to monitor use of its Channels and take action where a breach of this Acceptable Use Policy has occurred. If you act in breach of this Acceptable Use Policy, easyJet may deny you access to our Channels, block or cancel any bookings made by you, bring legal proceedings against you and/or disclose information relating to your breach to the attention of law enforcement authorities, in all cases as easyJet determines appropriate.
5. Liability
easyJet will not be liable to you for any losses and/or damages suffered as a result of use of our Channels, unless the damage is caused by easyJet’s negligence. In no event shall easyJet be liable for any indirect losses and losses of profits.
6. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Use shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
