Choosing a seat

If you’ve not already checked-in you can add or change seats up until two hours before your flight departs by logging in to Manage Bookings.

If you’ve already checked-in and want to change your seats you’ll need to contact our Customer Service team and they will make the changes for you.

Infants (children under 2) need to sit with an adult either on their lap or in an adjacent seat. On all of our aircraft we can allow up to one infant on a lap for each row of three seats.

If you’re booking online, you can seat an infant on your lap for a fee. If you’d prefer them to have their own seat, you won’t be able to book it online, so please call our Customer Service team. Infants sitting in their own seats will need to be secured in a car seat for take-off and landing. 

Please remember, each adult can travel with no more than two infants, at least one of your infants will have to sit in a suitable car seat.

To sit in our restricted seats, you'll have to be able and willing to assist in an emergency, including operating exits if instructed to by our cabin crew. This may require physical strength and for safety reasons there are some restrictions. To check which seats are restricted, please see our seat maps, as seat numbers vary depending on the type of aircraft.

To sit here, regulation requires that you

• are 16 or older
• are not travelling with an infant
• willing and able to operate an exit if required
• have no physical limitations on the day of travel that would prevent you from moving quickly such as illness, injury, pregnancy, age or disability
• do not require additional equipment (i.e., extension seat belt, support cushion, car seat)
• can understand and respond to instructions quickly and without assistance

Our crew are responsible for your safety. If you book these seats but don’t meet the above requirements on the day of travel, our crew will find you a suitable alternative seat when you board.

If you've booked a restricted seat and would like to change it to a different one, please go to Manage Bookings or contact us.

Minimum pitch: 28 inches / 71cm

Minimum width: 16 inches / 40.5 cm

If you think this size might be difficult for you (such as special medical requirements, a broken leg, or if you are of a large build), then you may need to buy an additional seat. This can be done by contacting our Customer Service team.

Our cabin crew will be able to provide you with an extension seat belt if you are of a large build. Please make sure you speak to a member of our crew when on board so they can bring you the seat belt, as you are only allowed to use the belts supplied on board.
