Why is your flight cancelled:
We’re sorry that your flight has been cancelled.
This is due to air traffic control restrictions.
We understand that this will be disappointing news and we want to make it as easy as possible for you to make new plans, so here’s everything you need to know about what to do next.

The disruption to your flight is outside of our control and is considered to be an extraordinary circumstance.

What happens now?
We’ve got three options available for you – please have a look at them and choose the one that suits you best. To select one, please click on the orange button here on Flight Tracker, or log into your booking on our website or via the easyJet app.

1. Switch to another flight for free
2. Choose a voucher for the full value of your ticket.
3. Request a refund.

If selecting another flight, please ensure you have the necessary travel documents. If you are currently at the airport you will need to collect and re-check in any luggage you may have.

Additional information:
For information on your entitlements, please visit our notice of rights and Delays & Cancellations page.
For our full terms and conditions, please visit our website.

If you didn't book your flights directly with us and would like a voucher or refund, please contact the agency you booked your flights with to arrange this.
If you arranged other services for your trip, like hotels, transfers or car hire, please contact the relevant service provider directly to change or cancel these.

If you're an easyJet holidays customer:
We have a dedicated easyJet holidays team who are looking after the entire holiday package you have booked with us. First we’ll sort your flight and then we’ll also update your transfers and hotel if required. We’ll send your new info and next steps via email so please keep looking out for it. It’s our priority and we’re working on it as quickly as we can. Thanks for waiting to hear from us so we can finalise it ASAP.

Any questions?
If you have any questions, please speak to our Ground Crew or click here to contact us.

Once again, we're very sorry for the disruption to your travel plans.

If you need a hotel room:
If there are no flights available on the same day, we'd like to offer you a hotel room for the night of your cancelled flight, if you need one. You can request a room after you've transferred onto a new flight on our app or in Manage Bookings.  If no hotels rooms are offered through Manage Bookings, or if the next available flight is more than a day later, then please contact us and we can help you with your options.

Why is your flight delayed:
We’re sorry that your flight has been delayed. This is because snowfall across much of the UK has meant that Air Traffic Control has had to limit the number of aircraft that can arrive and depart, which has delayed many flights today. The safety of you and our crew is our highest priority and we thank you for your patience.

The disruption to your flight is outside of our control and is considered to be an extraordinary circumstance.

UK Weather advisory

The Met Office has issued a Yellow weather warning indicating heavy snow across the UK from Saturday 4th until Monday 6th January. In the event of significant snow fall there is a greater chance of delays and disruption to our flights. In anticipation, you can assist us best by following the below guidance.

Check flight tracker before traveling to the airport – if need to make any changes to your schedule, we will update you here along with further information on what to do next.

Leave extra time or take an alternative route to the airport to avoid arriving late – we will be unable to extend our bag drop or gate closure times so arriving on-time is imperative.

easyJet Operations Control will be monitoring the ongoing weather situation until your flight arrives at its destination and is working closely with the airport authorities and Met Office to keep disruption to our services at a minimum.

You can read the official guidance from the Met Office by clicking here

If you would like to speak to someone about your flight before then; you can contact us by online or over the phone. All the details you need to reach out can be found by clicking here.

Disruption caused by inclement weather is outside of our control and considered an extraordinary circumstance, however we are extremely sorry for inconvenience caused as a result.
